A Decades-Long Passion for Chameleons
Our story started in the 1990s with bad advice, failed attempts, and a promise that we would figure chameleons out properly. That promise turned into decades of learning, working with keepers worldwide, and focusing on panther chameleons in New York. Today we run a small, focused, appointment-only setup in Valley Stream, sharing everything we learned so local keepers can skip the painful trial and error.
Region-Focused Care and Innovation
Our husbandry is built around New York, not a generic tropical forecast. We studied with Peter Nečas, then tuned UVB distances, hydration routines, and enclosure layouts for Long Island homes and apartments. From there we designed our own multi-breeder air-through cages with flip-up doors, plus 3-D printed accessories that fit real setups. Every cage, light, and plant is chosen to keep chameleons stable in Northeast winters and summers.

Meet Ron
Ron is the person many visitors meet first, and that is why we jokingly call him the extension on our hands. He spends his time checking animals, setting up baby cages, and walking new keepers through the basics without rushing or judging. Ron understands how stressful that first chameleon can feel, so he breaks everything into simple daily steps that fit real Long Island homes and apartments. He also helps during appointments by checking your equipment list, answering husbandry questions, and making sure our care sheets match your exact setup. Meet Al
Al is our problem solver for cages, technology, and new product ideas, and he helps keep our operation running smoothly behind the scenes. He works on our multi breeder air through designs, checks fit and finish on cages, and tests how smart controls behave in real Northeast weather. When we talk about Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or AI cages, Al is usually the one wiring, mounting, and fine-tuning things so they stay simple enough for everyday keepers. He also spends time with customers who want to add monitoring, helping match gear to budget and to each room.
